Job Description:

-Excellent in managing, coordinating and supervising ID works

-Planning and coordination of site matters, including dealing with management office and logistic matter

-Able to resolve problem with sub-contractors, suppliers and customers on site matters

-Able to serve the clients with exceptional service and manners

-Ensure smooth implementation of project within time, cost and quality

-Able to understand and do basic quotation, costing and procurement

-Able to multi task, work under pressure and has a strong sense of ownership

-Task-oriented person, high accountability and excellent leadership capabilities

-Managing all sales enquiry and understanding clients' needs and renovation requests

-Responsible to conceptualize and develop designs into drawings based on client's requirement

-Responsible in preparing sales quotations, process sales orders and other related documentation works

-Follow up on work progress to ensure the project is completed on time

-Attend to on-site consultation at client's home

-Liaising with client, contractors & suppliers for site coordination

-Managing projects from conception, execution to completion

-Follow up with payment collection and after sales service

-Any adhoc task as assigned by superior

• At least Diploma in Interior Architecture / Interior Design
• Required skill: AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp or 3Dmax
• Required languages: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. Communication with clients from China / Hong Kong is required.

Important past experience：

• Able to manage and deal with clients
• Able to conduct site visit to supervise quality control and meeting with contractor.
• Independent to handle project from beginning to handover.
  Able to control project cost.
• Able to produce a conceptual design.
  Able to produce construction and technical drawing.
• Familiar with residential and commercial projects.
  Comprehensive understanding of renovation and site issues such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing and general construction.
• Experience in sales, marketing and conceptual presentation is an added advantage.

Designing:

• To propose design ideas that incorporate functionality and aesthetics and make presentations.
  To prepare visual, project costing and material selection.
  To produce construction and technical drawing.
  Manage site progress:
• Arrange, coordinate, control & manipulate progress of a project.
  Plan & manage project schedule well to deliver within deadline.
  Client servicing:
• Handle & serve client.
  Servicing our clients’ units occasionally
  Always reporting / updating automatically
  Leadership:
• Undertake design project from concept to completion and customer satisfaction.
  Cultivating good relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the effectiveness of the assigned tasks.

Requirements:

We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with good interpersonal skills for the position of Interior Designer.

The Interior Designer's key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans as per client goals, sourcing products and materials, determining costs and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met. You will also be expected to comply with the regulatory environment around inspections and building codes.

We are also searching candidate that are able to think creatively about the use of space, color and movement and will draw on other artistic mediums for creative inspiration. They will also be effective communicators with the ability to persuade in communicating a design idea.Interior designers make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials.

Job Scope:

1. Outline client design objectives
2. Conceptualize and sketch design plans
3. Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase
4. Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project
5. Source materials and products included in plans
6. Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision
7. Utilize computer applications in the design process
8. Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met
9. Site visits to ensure projects are developed according to specification and requirement.
10. To resolve design related issues at all stages with project manager and vendors.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design or related field.
2. Portfolio of design work.
3. Project management experience.
4. Experience with computational design.
5. Highly creative, imaginative and artistic.
6. Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
7. Proficiency in 3D Studio MAX, Autocad, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Sketchup
